buying Panasonic AG-DVX100 online at discounted price.

So, I’m trying to figure out how I can buy this camara with my budget. I found this webpage that has it listed at under $1000.00. My friend told me it’s a rip off of some kind and told me to ask your opinion. What do you think?

Scam, they will never sell you the camera at that price unless you buy more accessories from them at exorbitant price. If you refused, the camera suddenly goes out of stock. Stay away.

you should be able to pick up a used 100/a on craigslist for between 1800-2000. just make sure there aren't too many hours on the heads. Don't know where you live, Lisa, but I was browsing nyc craig's and spotted this: http://newyork.craigslist.org/brk/pho/340294034.html
best of luck
