"On The Lot" tonight

I just thought it was so funny how Carrie Fisher cut up "Getta Room" in the viewing episode and then after America voted it in the top 3 she was all like "oh its great... I love it..." etc. There is a definite need for some harsher judges that arent afraid to say what they really think and stand by their statements.

meh Im still gonna watch it but I wont go out of my way to watch it.

They're actually all pretty old. I think the average is around 35 or so (read the cast bios).

I was amazed that the wacky cab guy actually made it through, and I think the girl who lost out to him was just as shocked. When I watched it I thought I might have come down with a bad case of dementia over night, cause none of it made sense. It's cool that the judges are positive, but after a while it's annoying. Everyone was an "amazing filmmaker".

The "Getta Room" guy knew he was trying to depict someone who was mentally ill, but I guess after the response, he tried to dress it up not to be so bad. He should have stood up for his concept. I enjoyed it. Like the previous statements, I'll watch it, but I won't go out of the way.

Also, last thing, the host is bad, and all that "suspense" before announcing who was going to get voted off was annoying, especially when they went to break (funny that everyone kept acting surprised that she did it again after she did it the first two times).

They should have made this show like Next top chef. That show comes on Bravo and made food very interesting. Making it a clone of American Idol is a very poor idea.

Yeah, and some were saying earlier it's too much like the Apprentice but I think it's not enough like The Apprentice. They should have axed the America votes idea and had fewer contestants being mentored and judged on their various tasks and films by Spielberg and his crew.

First of all, Rick Astley is a great singer. His voice is amazing. So I will happily click any link given, whether it's supposed to be what it is or not. Having said that, I thought the "click here - tee hee hee" wrong-link hoax died five years ago.

Nope. I believe the joke still has some legs left on it. :)

Everyone seems to have their technical stuff down.. they definetly need someone to be harsh to put things in perspective... so far its just kissing ass to the contestants.. but i'll keep watching!!

VFTW is actually very funny. Not that I knew about it before Barry linked it but man, I am considering the idea now.

I mean, it would be funny to keep Kenny on the show.

What makes "Top Chef" interesting, is that fact that they have a bunch of totally stressed-out people in a hideously high-pressure environment beset by mean-ass nasty hosts/nemeses - and everybody has big sharp knives within easy reach, the whole time.

And convinces him that America likes the artsy crap that he puts out, thereby forcing us to watch it every week? NOOO!!!

Which makes no sense... I mean, who are these people, really?

A sign on the stage wall, first week of shooting 'Star Trek: Voyager:'

Be careful whose toes you step on, today - they may be connected to the ass you will be kissing, tomorrow.

For real. There are some serious haters on here, for lack of a better word.

Just to put this in perspective, these guys are making short films that are playing to an audience of millions. Yeah, okay, they might just be reality TV stars, blah blah blah. I think I'm smelling some jealousy to be honest.

And I'm going to say it....that Zach guy is really talented.

i agree, we need kenny lube on the show. i always like it when i can watch tv and think to myself, "at least i'm better than that guy."

So what in the heck happend to the episode where they direct a scene in one hour??? Did it really turn out that bad they had to pull it and not show the 6 people they cut.
