there's no real trick to it I dont think, I just go for the highest shutter depending on the light, and just freak out a little bit.

recording mode was just 720 25p...what do you mean by settings, do you mean scene file?

haha I shall ask the band if they **** themselves...would they tell me the truth if they had?
 
Scene file settings, yes...
Eg, do you go for maximum latitude and grade in post or are you opting for an in-camera look...?
Did you do the slomos in-camera, if so how does FCP handle the 25p variable frame rates (you use FCP, don´t you?)
How big was your lighting setup?
Again, pant shitting good work;o) !
 
I do both, tweak in camera, then grade in post.


and yes the slow mo was in camera too and FCP deals with it fine I just import it and it works exactly the same as everything else, except...slow.
the only lighting I used on the concept was the sun.
 
yeah dude, for the Band we used like a few 2ks 1ks and a soft light...anything I could get my hands on i used haha.
