one little thing , their is a cheaper wider angle lense from 16 by 9 which doesnt distort because it uses a non barrel lense and its only about 700 bucks

Pretty expensive, you should give people the option to buy only the aluminum adapter. I would bet that most people who need this already have a MKII lying around as they probably upgraded from a dvx or vx. (I know I did.)
