THESE ARE THE WHEEL SETUPS THAT I CAME UP WITH. I AM A CERTIFIED FITTER (WELDER ON STEROIDS THAT CAN BUILD FROM A PRINT) WAS PRETTY EASY. THE LAZY SUSANS ARE RATED 300LBS EACH THATS 1200 POUNDS TOTAL WEIGHT SUPPORTED (WAY OVER BOARD BUT HEY :)) GOT SO CARRIED AWAY IN THE SHOP THAT I MADE 32 OF THEM. LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. I WILL BE FINISHING IT UP THIS WEEKEND.

i dont know I have been wondering if i should sell them as a set or as a full dolly. also i will be posting some footage this weekend, hopefully with curved track to show how well the lazy susans work.

I just want to chime in and tell you that is a great idea for a curved dolly track. Might be a little tough attaching them to a board and aligned, but great idea.

Not willing to sound negative to a great idea, won't the setup end up a bit heavy?

Those L profiles are iron, so four of them might add up to quite a lot, I think. My guess would be to 16 pounds or more just for the wheels setup. Am I wrong?

True they are a little heavy about 14lbs. total but I made these with wieght support in mind, on my dolly I have me sitting on a stool ( I wiegh 270lbs ) the tripod and the camera setup with not even an ounce of give in the dolly. each leg with lazy susan is rated 300lbs thats a total of 1200lbs ...... this weekend i used it to bring in my new fridge and stove.

As I said: a great achievement.

Did you use pvc tubing rails to move the fridge and stove?

That question never ocurred to me: pvc tubing rails will take how much weight over them?

Yes I used the pvc rails. My neighbor thought it was something I brought from home depot and wanted to use it to move sod ( lol ). I don't know how much weight the pvc will take but they hold well with what I used them for. I will try to post footage of the actual dolly in action.

Just curious, I was planning on making a lot of these too and selling them to friends and such, a little differently, but i was wondering which is better to use, skateboard wheels or rollerblade wheels and why, i know skateboard wheels are very inexpensive and inline skate wheels can get a little spendy.. I figured this would be a great project to test my new Lincoln Electric wire-feed welder.. thanks for your input.. and 'staygettin'... those look awesome man

My choice to use rollerblade wheels this time was base only on price I grabbed a bunch on wholesale but it could be done with both wheels I have no preference. Glad you like them.
