UNDERBITE - My first film with DVX100B

Too Golden Huh?

Too Golden Huh?

Hmm is it beyond colour correction do you think? Any advice?

We never actually attached the camera to the car. There was CAR 2 driving in front at times, plus an elaborate and detailed pre-production plan. We hired the Rickshaw for 3 hours only so any shots without the rickshaw were done on a completely different day.

I'm aware the guys aren't hairless, but they clearly have plastic ears too, and string round their heads, and aren't scary at all - that's part of the irony of the film, the joke. I hope.

it is. dont worry, that comment was too picky, and does not really matter imho.
he just describes them as hairless, and they are quite obvoiusly hairless by the leggins on their head...

i mean hes painting a picture for us, which is the setup, and then the joke when we see them.. makes perfect sense.

Great! Thanks for all the positive comments guys!

Compressing the file:

That was easy, I used final cut pro. I went to export using QuickTime conversion then clicked the dropdown menu and used “Broadband - High” then I adjusted one setting in that because my footage was shot in anamorphic squeeze, so click options, then size, and change the dimensions to 720 x 405 (do not be tempted to press preserve aspect ratio, it messes everything up) Then export, that’s it!

i tried this same way after filming in 24p and squeeze mode... but my .mov video was stretched sideways and had black bars at the top and bottem. do i have to set my timeline to stretch mode before i start editing? if so how do i do that. sorry im stupid
