what is the frame size with the anamorphic adapter

i use premiere pro and the only preset is widescreen dv but it is only 720x480, shouldn't it be like 820or so x480

No.

The thing that changes is your pixel aspect ratio. It should go from 0.9091 to 1.1212 (those numbers might be a little off).

1.2 is the widescreen pixel aspect ratio, 0.9 for 4:3

Bennishan is right, 1.2 and 0.9 are just short hand. There is actually more decimal places involved.
