New Music Video & an Important Lesson Learned.

It was nice, the camera bumping got me sick after a while...As someone who truly loves rap/hip-hop Id like to see some less cliche music videos...But I understand that It would be unfair to the artist as (for the most part) the only way to move up in popular rap is to do, well, popular...

I just bought a DVX100B for the purpose of making videos my question is what did you use for music so that you can hear doing the shoots?

i think the video was pretty good... song was good wich helps :D
i do think that u over used the high shutter a bit-i thought i was watching saving private ryan from the hood..lol.

one thing that i think woudl have been good to use if have some bike stunts and burnouts, your boys had bikes so why not put them to use :D

good job on the video and its a good track

Ithink you pushed that budget as far as it was able to go. Bravo. The rapper flow reminds me of the Game. But i actually REALLY loved the part with the rapper in profile and he literally spits the text out. that was really cool. and the frames were rather nice. Good balance and movemtn between them, that could definintly make it into BET. Good work. you have talent as an editor. Hook up with someone whos a young, but good DP (aka will work for cheap) and you can make some stellar work. This way you can focus on creating more interesting content and not have to worry about camerawork. Also, i can see you doing great thigns with some variable framerates....... :)

Thanks guys,

I would love some variable frame rates (120 anyone?). It would be nice to get away from twixtor. Some burnouts were planned, but I forgot the excuse the biker gave me for why he couldn't do them (it was legit, had something to do with the pavement).

Hah, saving private ryan from the hood, I might need the write that one down. ;)

hahah excuses about the pavement..lol..bullcrap, i do manily motrocyle stunt films and u can do a burnout on any paved surface, he just prolly was chicken, hahaha didnt want to lay down his shiny bike :D

Loved the video, iI would love to talk to you about shooting a video for our artist "Young Leek" I think you could do a good job with him. I will p.m. you.
