HD Video Pro --- new mag has HVX articles

Sorry guys if this has already been discussed. I found the premier issue of the new mag HDVideoPro on the Barnes and Noble mag rack. This premier issue (May/June 2007) has several articles regarding the HVX including an extensive article about a feature shot with it, a commercial, and several other mention the HVX in other regards. Seems like a good mag that cuts right to the chase.

I got that in the mail, (haven't had time to go through it), and subscribed. At $14 I figured it would be worth having around.
Now I'll have to make time to read it! :)
 
I received it in the mail as well. For a "Pro" magazine you would think they could get their facts straight. I have so far read a few articles and everyone of them has some incorrect information in it. This was in the article on the pants commercial and I quote..."One of the limitations of the shoot was the fact that the camera can't zoom. The AG-HVX200 has a fixed lens, limiting the shooting capabilities."
Oh well at least they have a great pic of Tricia Helfer on the front cover.
 
It can't zoom because it has a fixed lens??? Ha, snicker, grin, laugh out loud.
So much for wisely spending my $14. :crybaby:
I've seen that crop in most trade rags though, so you just have to be careful about repeating what you read.
