Somebody with some time and a 3D program...

Hey guys, many big props to for taking on this project. I haven't read through this thread for a little while and I am amazed at the progress you guys are making.

I hope we get to see the finished product, even as just a short and very low rez Quicktime.

Good luck!

What about the credit-photo's (see previous PM)?

Should I morph them and send them as AVI, or do you morph them so that I can send them as full-quality photo's?

C

Send a completed avi if possible.
I don't need them right now to do the capturing and label prep. When it's ready upload it.

What do you want done with the cap shots? Replace "CocaCola" with credits also, or maybe just "The End" or something?

Edit/ Stills are okay. I can animate them over the label just as easily. Whatever you have.
At this point the cap shot from the original label file is fully tracked and ready to go.

/Sent a PM: "Photos are fine with example video."

/Update:

These files (shown) tracked perfectly:

The closeup of the original label (not shown) did not track.

I'll know better what you mean by morphing if I see an example. The term can mean different things. So send the pics & example video and if I'm stuck we'll go from there.

I see what you mean now. I've downloaded the 15 day trial version of MorphMan so I'll see if I can put that morph shot together for you. Give me till Wednesday anyways as I have other stuff on the go too.

Nice work on the label by the way.

Hey Casper. I have a question on the timing of the interactions.
On your clip you have about 4 seconds static shot, then 2 seconds morphing and repeat. Is that the pace you want?
I was thinking 3 sec static and 1 sec morph but then I'm the impatient type.

No problems getting the morphing but I'd like to spend 1 day to experiment with getting the best results. I don't see any problems at this point.

Noticed on the example vid you had all three scenes. I could only capture the last two. The first was very unpredictable.
So, is full bottle shot, then cap shot, then back to full bottle shot alright?

I'll try the new file.
Here's an example of how a name will look on the cap. The file size is 873x480 but not sure what it will display as here. (I'll be softening up the edges later.)

That shot was from the capture. I'll adjust the cap again. One problem was the text is not centered in the picture frame so I had to do a bit of stretching. Maybe I can try re centerning the those. I'll try and put a short low res avi so you can get a feel for it.

The new shot captured perfectly so thats it for that.

I'm sending a PM with a couple things.

/ I rotated the cap above a little. Is that any better? The cap texture itself is in proper perspective in relation to the bottle cap as far as I can tell.

//I deleted that link I gave you. I uploaded a couple low res avi's to get some feedback. It is hard to read the cap when the bottle is bobbing. look for:
Celine_Perspective.avi
cap_test.avi

/ uploaded another with better label placement than Celine_Perspective:
Celine_Perspective_2.avi
