This post doesnt belong in the cinematography forum, Mod's please move this to the AE section.

well it does since the question was referring to asking what software. "Tips and Tricks etc"

If i knew that these graphics were created in AE only then obviously I wouldve posted in the AE section. BUT there are other ways to making these animations.

your respose doesnt belong with my question

How could "After Effects or Vector Art" qualify this to be posted in the cinematography section? C'mon.

Cinematography- The art or technique of movie photography, including both the shooting and development of the film, as well as mastery of the medium being used.

Just because the subline says "tips and tricks" doesnt mean that anything can be posted. Additionally I asked this be moved for the better of the post, more people would acknowledge and respond in the AE section, since this IS something that would directly pertain to a motion graphics program.

well maybe this was done in "motion" there isnt a section for that. or it couldve been done in "shake" but there isnt a section for that. so i guess we are both wrong.

yeah, it is in the wrong section, but oh well...

about the post...
its mostly all AE. They are vectors or photoshop files, with reveal masks, if you search for reveal masks and after effects in google i'm sure you'll come up with something.

you could do it to some extent in motion, but AE would render a better image.

haha, that was a funny lil clip!! Not that there is anything wrong with being that guy. Right Invision? hehe

Although, this is not a cinematography question.

Look, I'm not going to get into an immature argument on whether you do, or don't think I was trying to help.

I clearly stated that the thread should be moved to the AE section, as more people would see it, who would have the background or knowledge to help answer your question.
