Mic to use with Macbook Pro laptop (FCP)

What is a good microphone to use with Final Cut Pro by way of a Macbook Pro laptop? I am not interested in cheap Radio Shack type mic's! I am going to need a mic with a plug to be able to go right into the laptop so I can use the Voice Over tool in Final Cut Pro.

Nothing that plugs directly into your MacBook is going to be very good.

if you have an xlr mic now, all u need is an audio interface to get the sound to your laptop via firewire.

Thats the best way. Or just record using your camcorder and use the audio tracks only.

There is great review for the Rode Podcaster, wich plug directly into your USB.
