New green screen video!

The key looked really good for DV!
Can you give some insight on your workflow?
And maybe put some "explicit content" warning in your intro text, some around here are VERY likely to get offended...
(Your warning comes more accross as a kind of promotion...)

Good idea...... sorry about that!

As far as filming goes, I shot all the band members individually in front of a small ghetto green screen.
I did all of the editing in Premiere pro, then all of the compositing work was done in After Effects. I edited the backrounds in Photoshop.

Boy. That lead singer's this generation's Bob Dylan, hehe. Looked great BTW. Please share how you got the keying so clean.

Unbelievable!
Do you have some BTS pics?
How is your keying process?
Only Keylight?

First off......I had two different colors of green screen material. I know thats a big no no, but that is all i had to work with. I used DV Matte Pro to pull the initial keys then spent a long time cleaning them up with the standard after effects matte choker.
It was a huge pain in the ass, but I am really happy with the results!

Thank you so much for the positive feedback!

Our lighting set up was a joke! We used the overhead lighting from the room we were in and two 75 watt standard light bulbs. There were shadows everywhere on the green screen. It was about as far from an ideal situation as you could get.

Yet the Green Screen looks amazing. I'll probably be PMing you some time this summer because I have a project that involves all green screen... And I have no idea what I am doing.

What project is that, Lilgryph? You sound like another college kid animating videogames using a greenscreen. And you probably think musicians like Frank Zappa are cool.

this video was pretty goodlooking. Im just kidding around with someone I stumbled across on this big huge internet.

horrible song,... i'm pretty sure i actually wrote that chorus in 6th grade.... but, that's not the point....
great greenscreening man, and 'fitting' video. no complaints, it was entertaining

Not exactly my cup of tea. More into solo artist like Tori Amos and Regina Spektor and bands like Radiohead and Primal Scream so I accept I'm probably not the intended audience!
Keying is quality though. I'd also like to see some BTS or just a clip before keying.
p.. much as I didn't love the song the graffiti on the church at the end was a nice touch. Horribly blasphemous and someone is going to hell but funny.

And you sound like a jaded filmmaker from the south with a thick accent and a weight problem...

this description makes me wonder if you have a hidden web cam set up somewhere in my house.

Here are a couple of shots before keying....... you can see the super high-tech setup. Hehe.

Ok, I give up, I´ll never do greenscreen again;o)
If you pulled these keys from that, my next greenscreen shoot will take only 5 minutes to set up and you´ll just fix it in post;o)
Must see fullscreen video first, but this could shake Jim Arthurs throne here hehehehe...
Again good work!
