NAB - hoodman releasing RAW H2 - p2 competitor

i just hope thoes RAW p2 cards are reliable.

MAN i wish i could be at NAB..... i swear to god, its like a big giant candy store......
 
Hopefully they will be reliable and at least $200 cheaper than the Panasonic P2 cards. I wonder if anyone like cnet or such, will review them before they are released?

That is not true. Some older CardBus cards have a gold connector, with bumps, the ancient Xircom Realport ethernet card for example, came in 16-bit and 32-bit flavors, and the 16-bit had a smooth silver strip, the 32-bit, a studded gold strip.

The strip doesn't affect the cards insertion. The cards are keyed on either side, and a 32-bit card has an extra notch on the right side, looking at the card from the connector end.
