So, I'm gonna go check out a used DVX100 (not a or b) on friday. The guy's had it for 2 years and it has 120 hours on it. He's asking for $1900 for it. Good deal or nah? I'm worried about the time on the playheads. 120 sounds like alot. I figure that the dvx is gonna be on its way out, so I'll just get a used one and use the money I save on a tripod and software. Let me know what u guys think!
 
120 hours isn't a lot if it's taken care of and has used panny tapes. I wouldn't worry about that. $1900 isn't too bad. Of course, try and bargain with the seller. Good luck. :)
 
$1900 is a bit high. For that price it should be an A version at least, even with the low hours. Try to bargain it down to $1500-1600.
 
I wouldn't pay a penny over $1500 for it. You can find one here from the market place for cheaper than that. Does it come with any accessories? at least an extra battery or two?
