What kind of homemade adapter was that? And you don't mind giving a run down of the production cost and the lighting invovled?

No production cost. Zero budget production. 2 650K Arri Lights. The adapter was simply 2 macro lenses spacer ring, and nikon lens.

Excellent job man, im very impressed. That adapter worked out great to. If the XL2 was a fruit, you'd squeeze every last drop of juice it can offer.

Give this guy 30mins of your life to watch it will ya, I can't believe he's only got a few responses.

Very nicely done. Only beef was with the intern Karl. His performance pulled me out a few times.

Loved the camera work.

Superior work, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Everything about it was very well conceived and very proffesional. The acting, the music, the editing, the cinematography, etc. To me, the depth of field usage really gave it the superb cinematic feeling. Also, when the cannibal person emerged from the shadow to grab the meat pieces...I jumped...so good job there.

One question...although you filmed this in 4 days, how long did this take altogether?

all in all a week project thanks for watching!

Downloading!!! You mind posting a picture of your 35 adapter rig? BTW do you think this type of adapter could be used with the HVX200???

Feedback coming soon!!

More info about the composer Shean Beeson please! He's great! The music reminded me of The village somehow. Please give me Shean's info please!

Great movie! I personally think you could have turned this into a feature, just 40 minutes more and voila! you got a feature brother! I think you could easily get distribution for this piece.

good luck!

Man that was fantastic. The acting was great and i agree that Karl's performance did do a little injustice to the film, but the rest was simply amazing. I also thought that the lead female in the film did an excellent job and has a future, a bright one. The quality of course was not as great as it could be but i know that it was WMV. And all i can say that it is great... BTW, what lighting setup did you use and will you be submitting to film festicals?

Great job! I watched this with my wife and we both loved it. loved your depth of field, the color, visuals etc...

I was startled and she screamed with david grabbing the meat from the shadows.

I watched a couple of movies from your site before this; My fav of your shorts before this was The Bridge... I think this is your best work to date.

Excellent story telling, I look forward to your future films.
