NEXT LA DVXUser meeting Sat. 9/16 3PM!

Well...considering the week I just finished, it's far (being beyond the confines of my living room).

The footnote being, I just got a call from the office; they want me to come back for Monday/Tuesday, and even contacted the next show's designer (who's a mutual friend) to 'loan' me to them for the day.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

#*^(@)#&^!

Hey, you can't complain when you're working and doing what you love to do... :)

Who knows, I might give you a call someday and offer you some work...

Well, you can. Even if you shouldn't.

That would be much appreciated.

Hey Tommy,
When are you having surgery. I hurt my back recently, and went to see a guy that I really liked. He has helped me a lot. I'm really bad about doing my stretches and excercises, but if I feel pain and I do what he told me, it helps immediately. If you are interested, just PM me. Surgery should be your last resort. and many doctors don't know any better. Sometimes because of surgery 10 yrs down the road you end up needing a different surgery.
Just thought I'd ask.
hope you feel better.

Hey siniarch, was thinking about having the procedure done this summer due to insurance reasons.

Basically, my back has been screwed up for the past 12 years or so. I've got degenerative disc disease. My symptoms are actually the same as my moms. She had back surgery when she was around my age. The problem disc is called the TLJ (Theracolumbar Junction), which is where the T12 and L1 vertebrae meet. When there's a problem at that level, then it tends to throw all other areas out of balance. There are times when I get back to exercising and feeling better and then something will pop at a lower level and I start to have issues again. This happens over and over.

I've been to a chiropractor hundreds of times, tried acupuncture, stretching, everything. Nothing works, so it's time to get this fixed.

There's a place in Tampa called the Laser Spine Institute that does laser surgeries. It's an outpatient procedure and a minimally invasive procedure. Back surgery has come a long way in the past 10 years or so and I think it's a good time to seriously consider the procedure.

Thanks for the advice...

Well, sounds like it might be your last resort.
But if you want to give it one last shot, here is the info of where I went.

www.kineticconditioning.net

the guy you want to talk to there is Lenny Parracino.
Maybe you can just call him and tell him what your problem is and he can tell you if he can help you. Its your back and it doesn't hurt to try.
If you do decide to go, bring him your xrays or mri's if you have any.
you can tell him Luis Sinibaldi refered you. He should still remember me.
Hope it helps.

I'll look into it, but I do think that it's finally time for me to fix this thing for good. I've put off back surgery for so long and desperately not wanting to do it... It's just not getting better... and to be an actor, you sort of need to be able to move around normally. I've got about half the normal range of motion in my neck... man, I'm just tired of this after so long. But I'm glad the guy helped you out. There's another great chiropractor named James Pressley who's sort of near the Disney studio in Burbank and he's very good. He's got people coming to him from as far as San Diego just to be worked on.
