FireStore in the HEAT

What experiances has anyone had with the firestore in extreame heat? I have been shooting in the tropics (90-100 degrees, radioactive sun) with p2 cards and so far it has been fine. I would like to use the firestore but i cant imagine it can handle that kind of heat all day long. Has anyone tried? Results?

I shot with it in Belize with no issues. But you still have to use some common sense. I wouldn't expose anything to direct mid day sun. Use your head and your gear won't go dead! :)

Where I am in south Louisiana is techincally in a real tropic zone. It's a kidney bean shaped zone over the Gulf of Mexico that comes up on southeast Louisiana at one end, and into a section of Florida at the other. I shot all last summer with the FS-100. No problems. I was careful to keep it in shade as much as I could. It holds up to the humidity really well, too.

Well, on my FS-4, the lcd on my firestore gets a lot of streaks on it and becomes unreadable when it gets hot. I have to keep it out of the sun, that is for sure.
