Guns, lots of guns. (and slow-mo)

awesome footage! really nicely composed shots, and you made great use of the slow-mo with all the different pieces of motion within the shot. great work!

Thanks, it was set on Cinelike D, however, the white balance was a little off. I forgot to change it from the previous day, so it was a little warm. But in the end, I actually liked the tone, so I left it pretty much alone except for a couple (pretty noticable I think) shots where I brightened the scene slightly. I used one camera and switched between handheld and a Cartoni Focus tripod for the filming.

P.S.
One of the guys offered to film me for a sec, so I through myself in at the 4:30 mark ;)

I really liked the warm tone which is why I asked what the settings were. Good job!!!

Did you change anything else?

Thanks!

That was really cool. Being rigged to the teeth with vest and guns, my dream :)
The slow-mo looked really good, and you made the guys look pretty badass, I bet they love the clip. More clips of people shooting guns in slo-mo please, I love guns :)
I'm definately going to the range tomorrow.

The Master Ped is at -4, that's the only change in the scene file.

Only saw one Eotech...personal choice?
That belonged to an LEO shooting that day, the military guys mostly had Aimpoints.

The exposure is perfect on many shots.
Thanks! It's tricky as heck spinning that iris for each shot while trying to focus, but I'm getting better over time. Gotta hand it to the camera though, it really does record some beautiful imagery.

How did you protect your audio levels? Did you have any concerns with the sound of gun fire overloading your audio?

They were set in the middle of the dials for right/left. I actually hadn't thought about the sound issue at all, but the sound turned out very nice even as close as I was...

Very nice work! That definitely looked like a fun project. I was just curious what the name of that song is though. Also, how did you export that project(settings?).

The song is: "Hey Man Nice Shot" by FILTER

I exported a full quality quicktime movie, then dropped that into compressor and customized an h.264 output to the 480X270 size and turned up all the quality settings. If you want, PM me your email and I'll send you the compressor setting that you can drop into your compressor folder.
