Hey guys,

After much thought, I decided to make all the episodes of DBP free to view. Honestly, couldnt stand not sharing the work. It's the reason I got into this whole thing in the first place :)

So that said - all the episodes in FLASH are here:

http://www.drawnbypain.com

and the PODCAST versions can be found here (please subscribe if ya would).

Thanks everyone for all the support. It's been awesome getting to know some of you!

Was this shot on the HVX? Excellent content love the premise!

Yes it is all shot on the HVX (Can't get over how much I love this cam) and for a lot of it we used it on the Steadicam Merlin (depending on episode as I tried changing style according to content).

Thanks much for the kind words. Always makes me smile :)

SWEET!! Awesome story! A few of the actors could have been a little better in the "acting" department (mom and the cops), BUT DUDE, you sucked me in the whole 1st episode.. Got chills when she started to become the animated character, GREAT JOB! You made me HATE the dad..

Kinda like a female batman.. Keep up the great work..

I will check out the others throughout the week..

I could see this as a movie or TV show easily.. Especially with the animation encorporated into the film..

Thank Justin and Movie!!

Curious what did you use to do the animation over live action, it is a sweet effect?

Movie, believe it or not, the animation is hand drawn into each and every frame. Having every picture different allows the animation to in a way breath as the lines move and change - Hopefully creating a living sketch (fitting with the story). My animator, Erica Langworthy works her butt off and I consider myself very luck to have her on the team.

I'm sure she'll be glad to hear your kind words.

Oh and this is pretty cool the film is on the front page of the podcast section of itunes - pretty exciting stuff :) Thank you anyone who subscribed!

done and done, I will enjoy this on my Ipod. I really like the first one.

Thanks Bos - the action picks up a lot after the first. I needed to setup the emotional intensity of the character thruout the series right off (first episode), but after that I get to have a lot more fun. Glad you are enjoying it!

This looks interesting. Can't wait to watch. Rotoscoped? Wow. Impressive.

Thx man - it's not rotoscoped. The images drawn into the frames (some are free animation) are different characters all together. They are Alter-egos in a way (which prevents us from tracing or rotoscoping) making my animators job a lot harder. Thank god she has patience :)

w0w- LOTS of potential there:thumbup:

Looks good, I watched the first episode, and WANT to watch the rest. I could see you developing this into something further.

Good luck with it.

kick ass work Jes... great concept. I am definately looking forward to the character evolving into ultimately what she must become. my only regret is that I can't be there to help out with the action scenes : (
