Here is a short teaser for a movie my buddies and i filmed. Its not color corrected yet. I have to say i really love the HVX200. Im thankful to all who post here becuase without your footage i probably wouldnt have bought the HVX. Tell me what you guys think?

I liked the 60p used for the droping and shattering of the fourty ouncer in the beginning. Looked cool.
 
I like: your shots. loved the unique take on the dolly zoom, it had a bit of a variation to it that i hadn't seen before!

I didn't like: the color. pull some changes on the curves there, especially the midtones. that will help you give it a filmic look. also, i'm not a fan of the fonts you chose for your titles... at all. -- i'm a stickler for font choices. those didn't do the trick for me. several shots could have used better lighting (or lighting at all...)

great work! keep it up!
 
What did you use for sound? That was the biggest problem for me. Sounds like you used an on cam mic set-up for this.
 
Depending on where you are going with this.....
You have to watch logos etc...
In the opening shot. To many to mention.
I know you probably have friends that work
at the Blockbuster, you still have to watch
any and all products. And I know for a fact
that Blockbuster would not approve shooting
in a store. I have done a bunch of work for them.
As you have it shot now it will even be hard to get it in film festivals.
Next time, try a more generic looking video store
and make up you own movie titles for the boxes.
