Battery Shipping with Fs-100

[sick boy]

Hey guys,

I got my replacement fs-100 today and was curious, are they shipping with the high capacity battery? The reason I ask is there are two batteries focus makes, a 1950mAh and a 850mAh. My new fs-100 came with the 1950 which, by focuses part numbers is considered the high capacity one. Does this mean I should be able to get up to 3 hours of battery life? This caught me by suprise because there was no room left in my cradle that I got from bhphoto, which is considered the High Capacity cradle.

If this is true, focus should be letting people know, since it is a great deal. Anyone else get the bigger battery?

I suspect Focus Enhancements gave you a free upgrade, or they made a mistake. The high capacity battery has only been available as a separate purchase.

whats interesting is I have had 2 fs-100, the one I have now and one that I returned a few weeks ago, since the unit was malfunctioning. Both the batteries were the same, that is they stuck out a bunch from the backside of the unit. I guess I got a better deal then, cool

I just bought a FS-100 from buyrite.com a week ago for $1750.00 and my battery says 1950mAh... Is this good???

The 1950 is the Extended Life Battery. It'll last longer than the HVX battery sold here on DVXuser.com. Together, they both will give you ver long shoot times.
