DVX100 vs. DVX100A

What are the differences b/w the DVX100 and DVX100A, both ergonimically and technically (scene file options, gamma, knee, overall image control, pulldown/cadence, shutter speeds, focus ring/mechanism, zoom ring/depth/range, etc.)?

Thanks

I'm sure there are a lot of posts and stuff on the internet about this..
The features that personally i appreciated most were:
- improved zoom control
- autofocus (well, assisted) in cine mode
- cinelike-d and cinelike-v gamma settings

-Minimum focus distance decreased to .6m
-Detail Peaking feature in the viewfinder
-Much improved audio/video sync in 24p modes

does the 100 have audio/video snc problems in 24p and 24pA modes?

also, what is the the minimun focus distance of the 100, if you know?

how about scene file?

Yes. It's not huge, but it's there. I think it was a matter of a couple of frames.

I believe it was 1 meter, so the 100A can focus at almost half the distance.

thanks. is this all the time, or is it an occurence thing, like drop outs. if it's constant, is there a drift rate, so like every 150 frames, it drifts by say 3, etc?

is there a way to avoid the a/v sync problem (besides not suing a 100 version)?

thanks

Have you encountered the a/v sync issue yourself, or do you know how many frames the issue is?

i am looking into getting a used 100. I want the 100A but a, having issues finding one locally. I've used the 100A forever and so I want to know the diff's before I consider the purchase. so sorry for all the questions. i've been an advocate of not buying a camera for so long, because of the rate of change of models and formats. but, i do now want to buy a used dvx, only used and i really want the A, not the B or the original.

what do you know about the evident diff's in the gamma and matrices?

thanks

I have the A model, so I haven't noticed it. Maybe someone with the "classic" can chime in with their workflow.
