Spies Girls

Oh. I kinda in a round about sorta way worked with Agent Roberta. If so, hella actress and super nice girl.

I love the old skool mac sitting there amongst the glory in your composer's studio. After that picture was taken, he probably chucked it back in the storage bin. :)

Yeah - I try and only work with super nice girls.

As for the Mac, it's odd that you noticed that. The Mac was the only piece of equipment that I didn't photoshop into that scene.

Thanks Justin.

Is that a bucket? Perhaps our composer has been spending a little too much time with his Mac...

The similarity is striking? Don't you think?

Whoa, you're cute! lol, love the work station. Mine is composed of a laptop and flat screen monitor. Equipment, equipment, what I would do for some good equipment.

Update: 26 March 2007

Took advantage of the day today to head out and scout a location. I wanted a place that hadn't been seen by anyone, yet still carried the impact needed for the story. Of course, the place I've chosen has been seen in The Groundstar Conspiracy to The Core to Agent Cody Banks to Stargate SG-1 to Battlestar Galactica to The Sixth Day to ... well, you get the idea.

Maybe I'll use a filter to make it appear "fresh" and "new".

A few pics:

I won't give any of the story line away, but suffice to hint that don't these buildings bear a remarkable resemblance to a Chiquita banana factory?

That's the update.

Good night, and good luck.

Cheers.

Oh crap!!! That's some awesome cool architecture, but... Does this mean we're not gonna use the lego village I was building for this thing? Sigh...

No, Erik. We're still rewriting the script to include your Greenwich Village brownstone with Fed-Ex truck.

And yes, it made it here in one piece. See?

*sigh*

(note the Lego rat on the roof - HA! It's not to scale, man!)

Now get back to your cute little piano and come up with something that doesn't sound like "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida", would ya?

The legos stay!!! Yes!!!!!! :)

Don't worry about the oversized rat... Nobody's gonna notice.

The pryotechnics are gonna be amazing in this scene, hehe. Nobody is going to be able to tell this wasn't a real Fedex truck exploding!!! Mwahahahah!

heheh, I can't tell much about your film with all the tom foolery here.
but I can tell that it has girls, and will be fun - mostly from the tom foolery here.
So I am looking forward to it, lol.

Thanks, man. In the words of Todd Rundgren, we're doing our very best to deliver Something ... Anything ...

Where Is That Location?
Hey Brandon! Yes ... the location ... well ...

Let me put it this way. Erik has given away a little secret here. That's OK because we like Erik. The Lego comment was actually a cunningly veiled reference to the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) building in London - known locally as "Legoland". We actually asked for permission to film there - and believe it or not they agreed. Then they wanted us to give them an Associate Producer credit so we told them to stuff it.

And then Erik built us the brownstone replica.

Here's a pic of Legoland, by the way (Erik's version is better):

Being in a particularly good mood today, I thought I'd post some further cast information.

In addition to our three fantastic spies referred to earlier, we have also successfully cast Jodi Jones in one of our lead roles for Spies Girls. Jodi has the perfect look for her role and I doubt even the poop-for-brains director could screw this one up.

And not only is Jodi a helluva actor, but she's a great person and so will fit in very well with everyone else on this shoot (except, perhaps for one of our male prima donna actors "south of the border" who is presently grinding me on residuals and wanting his own trailer).

I'll post more cast information and pics when I feel like it.

Cheers all!
