I shot a music video with my DVX100a, 24PA mode.
Unfortunately, I captured it in FCP 5.1 using the normal DV NTSC preset.
I hadn't noticed my error, and proceeded to cut most of my music video.
Realizing I what I had done, I tried: erase my media, change my project settings to the correct ones, so that my capture settings are now: DV-NTSC 24p (23.98) Adv Pulldown Removal. These are the setting I want, the ones I should have used originally to capture my footage.
I recaptured the footage but FCP seems to ignore the new setting, and captures the footage as before.
I wouldn't mind recapturing my footage from scratch (typing in the IN and OUTs manually), but since I already cut a lot of it, I thought maybe there is a way to simply recapture with different settings, or to "reinterpret" the footage (telling FCP the correct settings), to keep my cuts with the properly captured footage.
Anyone?
Thanks!
