Hey looks like some really good work, love some of the shots, def keep us posted on when this is going to be released i want to see it.

i did have a question: you said that you shot in squeezed? is the trailer up-rez'ed yet or is that just the "un-sweetened" video that you got strait from the cam?

The reason im asking is because i just bought a dvx100b and want to shoot some 16:9 but all i keep reading is the squeezed mode doesn't look good because of the whole resolution loss thing. but your footage looks great, just wondering if you had any special way of shooting 16:9.

Trailer is out of FCP/cam, nothing tweaked, raw. I was using the 100A. In my experience, the loss of resolution is negligible in squeeze mode and allows for an anamorphic sized version of the film to exist and play on wide screen sources. In my opinion, shooting 24pA and in squeeze mode gives you the most flexibility.

As far as I know: Your 100B allows for the same squeeze mode but with the extra bonus of viewing an un-squeezed image in the viewfinder. A big plus for handheld stuff/framing in my opinion, wish I'd had it.
