I had one of my HVX batteries (the DVXUser ones) fall off the back of my camera and the housing broke. Unfortunately the wire connection also broke.
I have emailed the site I bought the battery from twice to see if they can put my cells in a new housing and I never get any reply. There is no phone number.
Any ideas?
Also I asked them if they would honor the fact that it was a problem with the battery that made it fall off. That's a long shot for me though , mainly i just would like to salvage what I have.
I have heard this was a common problem with their batteries. Have they fixed it? Nebtech told me they though this happened when manufacturers made too many passes over the an old set of forms (or whatever they are called) in manufacturing. The reason panny's were more expensive is that they chaanged the forms more often.
This brings up the issue though that my batterries in general no longer feel secure in the back of my camera and I have taken to putting a velcro strip around the back of them to keep them on the camera.
Anybody else having this problem? I've read about it the past here.
I did the same thing velcro thing on my Marshall and it works but its pretty damn wanky.
