hey B-man, I can't help but chuckle at some of the comments here on your thread... funny stuff!

How was the premiere of SR? I haven't been on much lately.

I'm looking for some local LA people who'd be willing to help me out with my one day spyfest shoot. Larry_R has written a great script, and I'm working on casting the three remaining people for the short. It'll be a one day shoot in two weekends (tenative) what I need help with most is sound at the moment. Please PM me if you can or want to help out, thanks!
 
I had an idea a couple days ago, ran it by Brandon and he liked it. Then I sat down to write it, I got as far as FADE IN: and then drew a total blank. I couldn't think of ONE SINGLE WORD to write.

I was frustrated and told Brandon about it. While telling him, I decided it was silly and that I was going to force myself to start writing, I thought whatever came out could be fixed later.

So, yesterday I saw an image in my head of the opening location and wrote a single line sentence that described that location....3 pages later I looked at the clock and it was time to go home. :)

Today I sat down and quite easily turned out an additional 5 pages and sent the whole thing to Brandon. He liked it, so I thought I might be onto something. About 30 minutes later I finally opened it up and read it (I hadn't read any of it yet)...and you know what? I actually like it :thumbsup:

Should be a fun flick. It was written as a short story with limited shooting time, limited location/cast/crew. The story fit the constraints, so I think it will come out really well....I hope so anyway :huh:
 
Thanks for the insight on that Larry! I really think we have a fun tight little story, and I want to have a showcase for some specific actors as well :) should be good!
 
UPDATE:
Working on finishing up casting... need some people for crew as well... script is nearly locked.

We're shooting this thing HD.
