Ralph, you always have such killer imagery, and know you've been working hard on the story end too. I imagine now that you're an official competitor, you'll be knocking the ball out of the park in all categories with this one. Looking forward to seeing your film!

Ralph, AWESOME intro to your thread!!! I love it!!!! (Damn, I wish I had thought of something that clever!!!)

Good luck to you man. You are one incredible artist and I can't wait to see what you come up with.

Cheers!

-Ted

PRE-PRODUCTION UPDATE 1.0:

Thanks for all the high compliments--you guys are too kind!

Did primary location scout at main location last weekend. Great lighting--all mercury-vapor. Far fewer security cameras than I had anticipated. Lots of good areas to shoot unnoticed. Got some cool ideas on how to shoot "under the radar" that I'll share later. Will shoot most the daring sequence first, so if I get shut down, I've got what I really need.

Did another location scout today from another "no permit" site. Found all four security cameras, and all four cameras' blind spots. It's as if I were casing a bank job! A few blocks away, serendipitously, a commercial access road (rarely used) allows for another great location vista. Fence is easily bypassed, and no security cameras in sight! This is another, one-shot, one-take location.

Alejandra (bikini girl in "RUNWAY") lives pretty far away, and couldn't get a ride for the second weekend in a row now. Won't start shooting anything else, until I get Alejandra's shot in the can first, so that I know I've got it.

yea you and your 2/3" camera.... "look at me.... my camera has no visible signal noise..... LAde freakin da......."

PRE-PRO STILLS 1.0

Here are some stills from the other thread, "What's all this talk about SpyFest," re-posted. It was only a test, and none of this footage will be in the actual short.

Hey Ralph, I've got to admit I'm really looking forward to your entry.

Any it looks like we've got the same costume designer - only your female spy is still dressed in her winter uniform ...
