The crane is a kessler, but i bought it 2 years ago and he had an option for powdercoating or not. i opted out.
 
What mic is that? It looks like an Azden SGM1000. Also- would you be interested in selling just the head? I already have that tripod.
 
Yeah, the guy who invented the Kessler crane used to sell them on Ebay unpainted with an upgrade option for black powdercoating. His business has since gotten bigger (no longer on Ebay) and now only does them in black.

I've been wanting one for years, but laptop and car repairs have me strapped for cash. :crybaby:

The mic is an Audio Technica AT987.

About the head only: i just replaced the head about 3 months ago. it ran me 150, so i'd need to find someone interested in the sticks alone, but i might let the head go for $150. - sorry i can't go lower, i'm afraid the sticks would be tougher to sell on their own and i need the money for an upcoming move for grad school.
 
That's cool. I started with some flimsey 2001 legs, and a sub 501 head. I got the heavier legs, but they came with a ball head for photgrahy. So... still stuck with the crappy head, and use the old sticks and ball head for my rebel.
