TheRocketMan- trailer of new HVX film

Greatel,

Nice lighting overall, exelent acting... I would change the font. (Exept for the main title). Also, in some shots, the camera shakes a little distracting.
Nice work overall.

I liked the camera work a lot.

But I have to agree that the stretched Copperplate font for anything other than the movie title needs to be changed. Also, try using jsut a white font without any of the extra colors.

If you can get your hands on Shake! (or any other app capable of correcting unwanted camera movements) to mellow out some of the camera shakes, it would greatly improve your project.

can you post something that is not on the "On the Lot" site? Compression is horrible and i would like to see a better version. Thanks!

Just curious, from the trailer I dont know why the little girl is locked up. I am wondering if infact this girl has a virus or a sickness that is in terrible need of isolation. I think her "cage" is very much cruel, but letting her out?.... hasnt anyone seen 28 Days Later? Loll.

Haha, no the story line is not similar at all. It was a joke. 28 Days Later starts with some animal rights people releasing a chimp from a labrotory, not knowing it has some infectious disease. 28 Days later the entire island of Great Britian is infected with the disease that makes people much like zombies (but not). I was just joking that since we dont know why the little girl is locked up in the trailer, that perhaps there is something severly important on why she is a captive in a lab to begin with.

I like the film very much, good luck to you.

By the way, you should check out 28 Days Later, it was shot on a Canon XL-1 with different lenses. It's a great example of what is possible with prosumer cameras.

haha nice. you actually might like my movie then. ill post up the link when i put the finished product online. ill check out 28 days later for sure!!
