Nice work - made me laugh! What kind of crane do you use - been looking at getting one and yours seems to be capable of some nice shots.

Wow, if you're having a hard time getting work maybe I should reconsider trying to get into the business...nice reel man.

yeah, its not strong enough for the m2 setup + Nikon glass + remote focus. But i'm around 15 lbs with all the toys. I'm sorry for that.

happygobo, thanks for the kind words, tomorrow i'm attacking some production companies with phone calls, email, site and bla bla bla. i started directing and DOPing 11 months ago and didnt market at all, maybe thats why i'm sinkin'....

Hey Schmovies,

good luck for all of that, i did like the clip, was not sure sometimes if the shallow DOF came from the M2 or sometimes blured in post..did you do that too?

Rome has to be damn hard for the work, but i guess you should do it, professional, good equipment...!

Ill be back in rome for a documentary at the end of the month....maybe we have some pizza....di quale quartiere sei?

...use the sun for your images, its HVXs best friend, and we have done amazing shots in rome with the great light....!

hey germanboy, again in rome! Lets have pizza for sure. Let me know exactly when you are coming. I live on the Cassia. The shallow dof comes always from the m2 but one crane shot, with animated lens blur in AE .
And sun, yes, i know the difference, but that day was cloudy....
See you soon
