[SIZE=+0]I have started assembling a crew and was lucky enough to get a seasoned DP with a HVX. Filming will start in March in Houston and Harlingen, TX and should rap up in mid April.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=+0]How is the HVX in cold weather? That's not a real concern in Houston but Harlingen gets fairly cold.[/SIZE]

We just completed our first week of production using the HVX 200. I an impressed with the quality of the shots.
 
This is the production that never ends... I am hoping that we will wrap in the next 14 days. I am going to try to have editing completed in eight weeks. Music and foley in six weeks and on to the next project in September.

Hey,
Sorry it has taken a year for me to reply. The shoot went very well. I ended up renting a military helicopter, a battle ship (USS Texas) and weapons. I do have photos on our web site.

The posters were made prior to the shoot to generate interest and product placement so they will be updated to reflect change in castand crew. The new posters will also intergrate stills taken on set instead of me. I used photos of me taken while I was in the Marine Corps back in the early 1970s.

Over all, it was a great experience.
