my trailer posted on Apple.com

Thank you so much for bringing hope and meaning to the independent film makers of the world.

Congratulations on making it this far! You're a winner in my book.

It's great that a member of this board made it to the academy's. I haven't seen Iraq in Fragments, but I was rooting for it all the way.

thanks everyone -- it was a great run. But the Al Gore film kind of had it sown up. It would have been nice to win, but it was a lot of fun to get that far. The Academy Awards are a blast -- I recommend them.

Now it's on to new and better things.

ok quick question, any idea when the dvd ma be released? or better yet when the next time you will play close to LA? it seems like i just missed the last few showings in Los angeles. :(

Too bad about the award, but what an achievemnet to be nominated! Very inspiring, for all of us, Im sure. I had my whole family rooting for your movie, even though none of us has seen it yet!

Congrats on making it that distance, that seems like an award right there!

Dude, like people are saying too bad about the award... you got nominated!
It's a big freaking deal! How many gets nominated for Oscars? and how many is in the business? I have never talked to an Oscar nominee before and you're here on the forum. I actually talked about this with my sister yesterday, we were watching the Oscar show and then Al gore came on with his documentary and my sister really likes it and we started talking and I was like; hey you know that site were upload clips and stuff? a guy there was nominated and competing with Al gore, and I actually was kind of proud talking about it. I'm babling, but the main thing is that you accomplished something that everyone of us dream of, just to be recognized, and by such an event! and you deserved every bit of it. Who care about a statue, you reached a dreamworthy level, congrats!

Congratulations... I can't hardly wait to see your project.
I have had extended conversations about it with other people.

Best wishes.. I am looking forward to see what you are going to do with the rest of the footage you did not use in the final cut. Need help editing? Got yourself a servant. :)

Best regards,

Lol. Gee, thanks for rubbing it in

Congratulations on the accomplishment. Seriously. That is great. And a big boost to the community here, as well.

Keep it up!

I wonder what must have been going through your head (and your stomach) when the category for best documentary came up. At least you didn't pull a Faith Hill :)

Oh. Someone posted some clip of her sometime back at the country music awards, or something. She was standing back stage as they were announcing the candidates. The announced the winner (not her) she started to raise her hands in victory, then realized it wasn't her. And then goes "What?" at the camera and walks off.

It was just a joke. Sorry. Not a good one, apparently. :)
