FS100 - OH NOOOO... I accidently FORMATTED my FS100...

It is a hard drive, so it should be there technically.... You'll have to try some recover software... Though unfortunately I do not have any tips on which programs to use. Good luck.
 
You can but all the files will have completely different names, which could be extremely difficult to manage, if not virtually impossible considering all the extra files like the audio, clip, icon, proxy, video, voice. It might be easiest to try and bring it into Avid. If your using a mac i suggest Data Rescue 2. - def dont use the drive untill everything is recovered.

Yes I have used R-studio to recover volumes it is the best recovery software out there and the licenses are not that expensive. But use at your own risk. I have sucessfully recover drives that even started to fail basically if the drive has a drive letter this software will restore it. My day job I am a Senior Systems Engineer this is windows only not sure what the best recovery stuff is for mac. But R-studio Rocks
 
I used FILE SCAVENGER 3.01 on a hard drive that was "inaccessible" and it recovered pretty much everything for me. It also maintains the file structure and I would imagine a firestore would have much less junk on it than my hard drive so you will probably be ok. Any files that it can't maintain file structure with go in a serperate folder it creates.
