Hello,
Just wondering if anyone else entered "On the Lot" Spielberg's new reality show for FOX. I looked around the forums, but didn't see anything about it, but, I haven't been around lately, because I was Shooting/Editing my submission.
Please check it out, you can leave a review too!
About the film:
"In a story packed with passion, betrayal, and vengeance, unsuspecting events lead an incarcerated husband to seek revenge on his unfaithful wife."
I shot it in 720/24pn and used the M2 adapter with Canon EF lenses (Mostly just my 24-70 2.8 L). Most everyone I talked to said you can't use zoom lenses with the M2, but I did, and had a great time with it
I found the M2 fairly simple to use, the first day of the shoot was actually the first time I ever touched the damn thing lol I got it in the mail the night before, it was a last minute purchase! It has its pros and cons.
I was basically all positions on Set (Blah!), and racked up quite a tab at the rental house too over a few weeks (I sold one of my cars to pay) - but who can resist HMI's and everything else ! My friends helped me out for free to make it happen - they are awesome! This is my first movie, its a 5 minute version ('PG') of a 15 minute Directors cut I am working on also ('R'). In addition, I have 18 hours of behind the scenes video (DVX100a footage - including after parties downtown) and 3,600 production stills shot with a EOS 20D!
You can check it out here:

I uploaded a HD WMV to the On the Lot site...they turned it into this anamorphic 4:3 mess encoded in Flash. So you can't really judge technical aspects too closely until I get the full-res version up on my website!!!
Thanks,
Eric Papa
PS: No color correction yet either
