So where are your settings to help him ;o)?adam powell said:If you have some scene settings that you think will help him, why not draw up a list?. Otherwise I don't think sarcasm is either useful or particularly relevant at this point.
Not trying to rock the boat here.

Film Division, I've sent you a PM, I'll try and help you as much as I can in regards to getting the type of look that you're after but like I said, I think it's gonna come down to Post work.
Are you serious?Film Division said:What else do you need to know?

Is that a black flag logo?

I mean, hip hop video with interior/exterior shots...? Ah, now I see...
The only thing letting me assume a certain style here is the "hip hop" hint, but I mean hip hop is big and not all about cars, woman and bling-bling...
so how about a link to the artists homepage, a description of his style or a description of how you imagine the video to look like?
Maybe there´s a video you admire and try to achieve a similar look?
Do you like it all contrasty and desaturated or rather with midcontrast
and poppy colors?
Do you wanne get the look as close in camera as possible or would you rather shoot for maximum DR and tweak color, contrast a.s.o. in post?
If your doing a MV you will have to know and prepare A LOT of things in advance - the scene file would be one of my LAST concerns...
The best setting won`t help if the vid is badly lit, shot, edited or directed.
