Anyone get their free P2 card yet?

Jan, I need to say thank you as well. You guys have been awesome every time I decide I need to call and bug you guys about where the card is. Like I said earlier I received it and it works great, I will definitely prefer using it when I can as opposed to my firestore. so much simpler. Thank you for all of your hard work on this deal. I must say although it took a while, this is one of the easiest rebate processes I have been through in a while.

Thanks for the additional info. Sounds like the majority of the problem stemmed from the decision of the higher-ups *after the rebate program was in place* to require the auditing. I realize it's always a problem to make a major modification to a distribution process midstream.

It really is great that Panasonic, thorugh you, is maintaining direct communication with it's customers. I doubt many of your competitors would make that effort.
 
WEll i sent everything in on 12/20 and they recieved it 12/22.... im just gonna wait another 3 weeks before i even start cheking up on it. these things take time..... Have patience people!
 
There is hope!

I just received my card and book today (2/14/07) after applying online (1/4/07). My order was processed on (1/5/07).

I mailed my invoice to the rebate center (as instructed on the confirmation page) on 1/5/07. After all the controversy on this thread I called the rebate center to confirm they had my invoice yesterday. They informed me that all was well and my package would ship out this week....and it did!
 
I think the issue was as soon as the rebate was going to end, people just bought them up like crazy and they got overloaded. That caused confusion and then they extended the warrenty so thigns died down a tad. Things seem to be ok now from the looks of it so I guess that is good. :)

Submitted rebate on 12/8/07. Received today 2/15/07. About 10 weeks. Painful but worth it....I guess.

How valuable is the time? What didn't happen for that 2 1/2 months that could have happened? Of course, I could have ponied up the $1200 for a P2 card and had it in a couple of days. Its always a trade off.....my cash or my time. Cash won out this time.

Admit it Timur, you TOOK MY P2 CARD! You did something with their computer system...or something...just had to be first, didn't you?
 
I just received mine yesterday, which was about a month after submitting the rebate. :)
I use the FS-100 more than expected, so I wonder if I shouldn't just sell the P2 card. Part of me feels the need to keep it, and part of me would like to recoup some of the cost of the camera immediately (though some of the work I've been doing should pay the camera off in the next few months.)
