I'm going to be buying a DVX100b as soon as I can, I have the money (and no, not enough for the HVX...oh well, not looking for HD necessarily anyway) and I found this:

seems a tad too good to be true, what with the tripod, lenses and all that, Or is it?

what do you think? I'd normally buy something like this without much hesitation, however being an electronic item and expensive, I don't want some scam or for it to arrive broken in half, or just an empty box with dead mouse in it or something...

Nevertheless, looking forward to joining the ranks of DVX owners!

I bought my FX1 from those people and they shipped it in a timely manner; they're legit. BUT I don't recommend buying from them. You should be aware that most of those accessories are crap that you don't want anywhere near your DVX. The wide angle and telephoto lenses cause so much edge distortion and forced me to zoom in so much they were unuseable; the tripod broke after one week of use, and the extra battery they threw in cracked after about three months. The only thing I still use was the case.

Not to mention they'll try to sell you extra stuff and get you to exchange for the "Made in Japan" model (which is BS, as all cameras you buy should be made in Japan). My FX1 package at the time was $3200, and I ended up spending $200 more after talking to them, which is about what the camera went for at the time. They're not as bad as those Brooklyn scam artists, but why take the chance? As far as I know the rebate for the DVX is still on which brings the camera itself close to the eBay price, and you actually ends up with decent accessories like Magic Bullet. Go buy at B&H or some other authorized dealer and save yourself the hassle.
 
Yeh, good price, but what a bunch of junk. Package deals always make me wary. A legit business will sell you just the camera if you want it.
