Demo Reel - Alex Kosutic

Great work! I would have to guess as to which is 35mm and which is HVX. Let me make one guess. The Angel Girl in front of the piano is 35mm?

Which do you prefer, the M2 or the PS Teknik?

Thanks!

Great reel! I really liked the shot tracking past all the people on the street, the shutter angle made them look like cardboard cutouts.. very strange and subtle effect... or was this a composite of some kind.... Also, the motion control-esque dolly around the bed with the couple making love in different positions, really cool shot, had an almost hysterical feel to it, would be interesting with different music..
Really strong reel. Would avoid the repeat shots, but other than that it's perfect!
I'm going to watch again just for fun!

That was a really cool reel. Great lighting and composition. I couldnt tell which were the 35. Any chance some of those projects are posted online?

Thanks guys. Actually i was wrong. There is less than 10% 35mm. The only thing that is 35 is the Mountain Dew girl. To answer another question, i perfer the PS Technik over the M2 but if youre tight on money the M2 is great , its just a bit of a pain. Right now none of these projects are posted online but they will be in the near future.

AWESOME stuff. Definitly some of the best footage ive seen posted.

One question, what do you use to color correct? do you do it yourself?

alright 2 questions

P-R-O-F-E-S-S-I-O-N-A-L - I love it!

Pity the shop signs are back-to-front on the one street scene - but apart from that, it's a first class job.

I wish my demo reel looked that good!

- That's making love? -

Wow - I'd have called it something different - I thought making love was rather more kissy and huggy than that!

It took me 18 months to talk my wife into buying a DVX next month. Now I have to try to talk her into a HVX instead...and it's all your fault:)

I've been reading all day what a light hog this camera is. Any advice?
