Ok, this is your final chance to vote in Drama-Fest. You have exactly one hour left to get your vote in. Results will be announced tomorrow night.
 
Really?!?! What about those folks that thought they had missed the deadline yesterday, and therefore never submitted ... and may not sign back on until tomorrow, etc. Only an hour notice for a "voting is back open" catches me off guard is I guess the best way to say it.

Why is the voting suddenly extended (or re-opened for an hour), or did I just miss this somewhere?
 
I've been getting quite a flurry of last minute voting and so I'm keeping things open a bit longer. I get the impression a number of users thought they had through tonight to vote. So in the interest of making sure we have some robust numbers, I'm letting in the stragglers.

a lot of us thought voting ended yesterday at 6pm eastern . . . it's cool that you're allowing more time, and also that you told us when to expect the results.

it's not like a bunch of us have been sitting in front of our screens for the last 30 hours, hitting refresh every few minutes (Norm!). :) you know I wouldn't say that unless I've been doing it, too. this means I actually get to sleep some tonight.:Drogar-Happy(DBG):

seroiusly though, good luck to all . . . and congrats to whoever takes the trophy!
 
Yeah, the best part of this is the ETA, so now I can at least sleep also, knowing when to expect the results. Just hope those that were told they missed it yesterday sent their votes in anyway ... otherwise, they may be out of luck.

Thanks again, Barry, for all you & the rest of the crew have done ... don't mean to have sounded ungrateful ... was just caught off gaurd & confused.

That's exactly what happened to me. I posted on Saturday asking if there might be an extension until Sunday, but I never got a response. I finished watching all the films yesterday, but didn't vote, because I didn't see this thread until today. Oh well.

I'm off to start posting my thoughts on the films in the threads.

Well, considering if your post was PRIOR to 6pm PST (when Barry made the announcement), and you happened to be away during that one hour time slot, I'd imagine you could probably still PM him. You should do it anyway, just in case. Then again, if you weren't going to vote for WHERE SILENCE FALLS, I could be wrong. :grin:

Too bad ive still got too many to go and no time to view :( but my vote would be Norman Sandersons if i had to vote right now having not finished watching :P

That might depend on where you are... it's still tonight on the West Coast...:)
