Dilemma - When a man fights with a man within...

My honest view-
I thought it was to long. I think if you could have chopped it down a few minutes it would have sold me on it...

Get ready for spyfest dude! you got the gun the booze and a cigar.. you just need a dame :)
 
The music sounds like award show music. Other than that and the lame final sound effect, it was decent. That music was just cheesy though, it didn't really work in my mind. I think it might work without it, or with something more minimalist and subtle. I think a lot of people think about how music can create an effect, but so can the lack of it. Take the films Dog Day Afternoon and Smypathy for Mr. Vengeance as examples. The only music Mr. vengeance has is some acid jazz that plays twice in the film (one time being during the credits) and for only about 10 seconds each time, but the film's is so effective. Same thing with Dog Day. And I'm not saying you should change your movie or anything, it's just an angle to think about, at least for future projects.

review 4:

Again the first thing i noticed was i was waiting for something to happen for a begining to begin, but unfortunatly it didnt begin. I understand you need to give us visual information, but it wasnt neccessary to take so long to give it.

The second thing i noticed was i couldnt make out a word he was saying. We didnt see his voice in sync with his mouth, so someone who speaks better english could have done the voice over possibly? What i could hear sounded like he had it pretty good. Why off himself? The sound effect in the end did not sound like a gun, but rather a hatchet being swung very quickly and mashing into someones head.

I dont really understand how i can relate to this in the slightest.

The white balance of the short kept shifting on both my monitors.

He looked pretty healthy for a guy dealing with a dilemna, which he is this distraught over.

This also , like many others, suffered from the feel that it was trying to reach the 6 minute mark instead of just being a short. I honestly did not think i needed to watch this whole short but just felt obligated after a while.

thats it.

maybe i should give a disclaimer before i get warned? ( i had to stop reviewing horrorfest because i wasnt being that positive, this is how i feel and i guess ill just post until im stopped again)
