Hmmm. Raptor, what kind of music do you feel would have fit? mark and i conferred that we wanted a jazzy/1950/1960's feel. I actually am very curious, because i think different music that we may not have thought of , could very well change the whole mood of the piece. Please give me an example, i'll play it under the film and see how it changes it. :)

Hi Tim. Yeah, I hope I didn't sound too harsh there. It was a knee jerk response.
I don't know, maybe it's because I was knee deep in back-to-back Drama Fest videos that I was
'expecting' a different sound track. I wasn't actually dogging the music itself.
In fact I liked it. My first reaction was it was wrong score-wise and that it did not add to the shots or story.
Having had time to rewatch a few more times with a 'clearer' head I now see what your doing. In fact I
like it and it's really growing on me, lol, go figure. The score reminds me of Sin City (2005)
with Bruce Willis with the type of mood it sets. It definitly adds an artsy feel and is actually
very well done. As with all things that are different I've found to expect, well, almost a backlash
kind of effect, until it 'settles in' and I think that's what has happened to me in this case.
It was different and I reacted.
Before that, my response was going to be about the importance of a score in film. It can
make or break a film but is often overlooked or taken less seriously than other areas. With any film, it would be 'nice'
to have three different people score it and view the different interpretations and effects it has on mood.
That was where I was trying to point you earlier and still think it has some merit and is something you could explore in
the future. I'm stressing 'could' here.
That said, this moive is really 'coming to me' in a fast way and I'm falling in love with it AND the score.
I guess some things just take time. I like what you've done here and will be burning the hi-res version.
This is going to look and sound great on my bigger setup.
Great work guys.

I guess that $20 I mailed him worked...

Herman? Great work, as always. It just took me a bit to 'see' it. Excuse me while I go hide under a rock.

LOL! cool, thanks for giving it another shot. though i would not have been offended if you STILL did not like it. Was just genuinely curious what you would have expected there.
