I think part of the reason I love the story so much because it taps into my need to remember that some things don't turn out terribly and instead I'm reminded to appreciate and enjoy what is good.
So I've got to ask the artistic choice not to include his name anywhere in the film, because as it stands, there's no way to tell who is named who, etc. And I'm only asking for a fest-rule question, which likely may not matter anyway (as in, it may appear to be a pretty soft rule/guideline). Anyway, just a question, as it SO easily could have been satisfied by having the name on the card, etc.
Otherwise, HANDS DOWN, this is my favorite film to watch. It just FEELS good. It's one I can't wait to show my wife, as I know she'll instantly fall in love with it. It has that 'Notebook' feeling of love that's just ... splendid.
It's also refreshing because when most people think drama, they think fighting, death, tears, etc. ... but not a lot would think outside of the box for romance, which I dig.
