P.S.

We were shooting under a old Train RailRoad bridge.
4 minutes before the shoot ends, Im on top of the bridge and we have this PERFECT shot of me on the bridge with the traintracks. Then all of a suddent the cops come! ****!
we were just warned but good thing is that we just got a warning.. no ticket!

Only one thing i would change....

The sunnies.... they reflect the camera position... Good for long shots but not close ups...

Not a stab just my opinion....

keep it up

The video keeps stopping kind of annoying! I'm interested in watching it though.

I just tried to refresh it again it stopped if you get a quick time link up I check back or even you tube.

Prehaps the best example yet ive seen of technological advances aiding the uncreative mind.

Both audio + visual were weak, regardless of Steadicams,HDV and big dollar vocal mics.Im sorry this is so harsh dude but i absolutately believe that this is the main reason behind modern music/film being so dull and uninspiring.

Everyone can have access to these wonderfull toys and instantley assume thier stuff is good because of their kit.Wrong.U cant polish a turd no matter how hard u try.

Back to basics.Good in,good out.

Sorry again dude for being harsh.**** happens.

I thought the composition, exposure, focus, and smoothness of camera movements were great. Shooting through the trestle supports while moving
was very creative. Blowing out the exposure behind some shots worked well
Not sure if the last poster is watching the right video, or just venting. I might have done the girl scenes with a different background. But I don't think the guy deserves to put days of work into something and have it called a "turd".
If you want to criticise, instead of just trashing, offer your suggestions to improve.
And if you want to be taken seriously as a professional, learn to spell.

Just suffer it while it downloads - then it plays fine (on my setup anyway).

I'm with mainstreetprod on this one - to call it a turd is so narrow minded.

It's not my thing but I reckon you did very well under very difficult circumstances.
A lot of thought (and work) went into it - and I think you achieved what you set out to do - so that's great.

More soon, please.

My experience has been that there is a direct relationship between the quality of someone's work and the quality of their criticism of other people's work. It takes time and labor to execute a video; it takes very little effort to put down someone else's. Just something to keep in mind when you see inflammatory comments from anonymous users.

Having said that, my favorite thing about your video is the cranked, saturated colors and the deliberately blown out skies. The superficial look matches the flashy, superficial track.

I think the video serves the song and that's all it has to do. It's not the greatest song or most talented singer in the world, in my personal taste, but it's certainly not terrible and definitely marketable. Lotta people eat this kind of thing up, so way to go.

I liked this. Simple construction and nice looking shots under the trestle.

I would have really liked to see something more on this girl he's talking about to establish her. Even if you go into cliche land, it might break it up a little more than the one black background.
  • Girl in her power office. On the phone, looking out the window over the city.
  • Girl walks into her kitchen in smart, sexy business suit. Turns to camera as she puts down her keys, smiles to camera as she locks eyes on her man.
  • Girl smelling flowers or opening a Harry Winston box.
  • Girl hiding behind tree in park - laughing in a game of hide and seek as we try to catch her. Fun and games.
  • Girl at a coffeehouse or restaurant looking into camera, smiling.
  • Girl laying on the bed in lingerie, looking down in slo-mo from above as she gives bedroom eyes.
Conversely, you could add more extreme close-ups of her eyes and so on to mix the medium shot that dominates the piece. The "candids" of her laughing and so on really don't work in this format in my opinion.

Also, just a minor thing, but the bands would look much better in black.

Yeah No one work should be called a turd number one we don't know if he's a beginner or what even if that doesn't matter constructive is the word here.

And I apologize for someone's ignorance when it comes to supporting up and coming filmmakers/videographers or whatever we call ourselves nowadays.

What would we call ourselves I use different names everytimes.
