The Fallen: our entry to DramaFest

Excellent, looking forward to it. Maybe you could post a single frame ... ? I love the wheels I got a while back, superb investment, thank you!

Cool Neil.

That must've required some serious self discipline not to mention it. I am wary of being someone to throw my hat in the ring, only to back out later.

Looking forward to it.

Tim.

..well, you'll likely see it for the first time at the same time as me since im pushing the deadline pretty hard. heh

heh. nah .. i freaking hate dollys. they are completely worthless.

..of course, in reality i had dolly shots coming out of my ears for this one. :)
...now if i can just finally manage to upload it i can stop hating life.

Hey Neil, congrats on the entry and good luck!

I am looking forward to seeing your work. I am always seeing your posts. And I hear that you have a great product.

Best to you!

-Ted

PS - I love the title!

thanks Ted :) ive been waiting to check out your fiilm since the thread started some odd 8 bazillion posts ago. it will really be neat to finally be able to watch what everyone has been working so hard on!

Thanks Neil. We're nearly there!

Should be a lot of fun.

btw, I love that banner of yours. It is so striking.

Damn, there is a lot of talent here! I love dvxuser!!!

yeah, theres alot of people around here have more talent in their butt than i do in my head.
Thats funny! lol
I am excited to see your entry... when someone is so humble like you I get a sense they are good at what they do. :)

I am thrilled to entered, this is my first short.

..well, im certainly not good at compressing a H.264 from PPRO 2.0 . i swear, if i hadnt broken down and bought some external compression software to do a decent encoding, i would be lying face down in a pool of my own vomit and hitting myself repeatedly in the crotch right now. its just a sad ..sad scene. i think i spent over 15 hours trying to get a decent file through about a trillion compression settings.

... WM9 .. no problem. mpg2 ...no problem.. in fact just about anything else is no problem. but asking PPRO to output a decently compressed quicktime is like sticking your face in a blender.

annnnnnyyyyhow. i think i can finally sleep now. and i hope you enjoy the film :)

Wow, fantastic cinematography! Excellent visuals. Great camera movement.

Your narrator/actor looked like a lot like Clancy Brown.

But . . . I'm not sure I understood it.
