Mark and Ted's Excellent Adventure in Drama

Nice to hear. What is the background story? Where'd you two meet?

Ok... this is a crazy story.... bear with me :)

We met at my church in 2003. She used to go to my church, doesn't anymore. Anyway, we became fast friends, and started dating, but it kind of ended sadly... we were WAY too young, and I was a fool. Anyway, then we kind of lost touch with each other, said hi occasionally. Then this last summer she started going to another church, so I never really saw her anymore... (and all this time since the break-up in 2003, I had this sense that she still was the one, even after dating two other girls) Anyways... 5 months ago she popped on AIM, and I began chatting with her... It was like once a week at first, then she started coming online every other day... then I asked for her phone number... and for the last three months we've talked at least once a day (whether it be phone, text, or IM) and then finally I got the guts to ask her out :) So, it's a storied history.

Heheh. You have to read Brandon's post in the voice of Case Kasem and add to the end "Casey please play the Peaches and Herb classic "Reunited" for my peach, because it feels so good."
:cheesy:

heheh, glad it worked out for you B-Man.

HAHAHA! Jack, I just took your advice! It sounded like one of those classic Casey Kasem clips! You always know how to improve a story!

Brandon, that sounds like a nice story. I am glad to hear that you two have crossed paths again. I hope that you two can connect again. :love4:

Man, Ted and Mark....this is the most replies I have ever seen to a thread! Looking forward to your film and nice job getting such a large cast. I wish I had that kind of commitment to my stuff.

Every time I think this thread will never hit the next thousand number, it does. So I'm changing my thinking. I'm am now sure that this is going to hit 4,000 replies.

So, is the movie locked and uploaded yet?

Damn. I missed the big 3k. I was sleeping. I was up late drinking some home-made brew after opening night of our play.

Home-made brew rocksss!

3k Rocks, almost as much!

Well, Larry is the master of smilies! I put him to the test to come up with something special for this occasion!

I think that he did well!

Hey Jason, I was wondering where you were.

How was the opening?

And yes, home-brew does rock!!!!!

I just wanted to say that I think that you are doing a great job as a mod.... I haven't seen the place so clean in months!!! :)

Seriously, nice work on the festival. (I've seen your posts!)

You rock!

Har, har, Ted. Thanks.

Opening of the play was great, actually. Our "respondent" (that's the new pc term. I always say adjudicator) was Tonea Stewart. She is quite an established stage, tv, and film actor. I put a post about her in the cafe. She had some real nice things to say about the performance. It was very encouraging.

Homebrew hangovers aren't as bad, but they still give you a headache :)

does anyone remember last night around midnight (eastern) when we all thought we missed the deadline? that was not fun. for a few minutes it looked like it was gonna be a fest with only 5 entries.

the term "midnight " can be confusing . . .
