Start, Stop & End is the backup entry film that I'm shooting next weekend.
Night & Fog will take a break for the next month or so for revisions.

Nice nice nice nice .... love your graphic design. I'm going to be sending you a note tomorrow so look for it!

oh bee kay bee:) jeez man you guys have been up to your eyeballs in work!
TTN is looking like melted fudge on vanilla ice cream... delicious!

Looking forward to this! You've got great graphic design skills, I am always amazed at your posters and the titles you come up with too! I think if anyone else designed a poster for a movie called Start, Stop & End, it'd be like, "yea...looks okay..." but with the way you do things, it's like, "wow!", this looks very interesting! You immediately grab peoples attention and raise the bar. I'm excited that you're back in the fest and I'll get to see more of your work.

I'm a big fan of your Horror-Fest entry. Can't wait to see what you have for us this time. As noted, the poster rocks.

"Backup" :) Love it! You've definitely got the ability to strike up some interests with your gfxdesign. Looking forward to seeing your film.

Thank you for all the compliments ya'll!

Just incase anyone is wondering how this is going... it's officially turned into a
48hr fest entry for me. Moved the shoot to 10pm tomorrow, edit Wed, upload Thurs.

Ouch.

I think the entries have to be uploaded Wed night. I'm not positive, but check the rules to make sure you don't fall off the deadline.

yeah, I almost got caught on thurs too, then sent a panicked PM to Joe about the sound mix saying: "Oh ****! It's WED night!!!" :)

lol - scary stuff when it comes to last minute. i'm proud of you, eric. i was gol-darn depressed to see you pull out of the fest with your other entry.

very excited man! get to work! ;)

Inexistance:

You have AMAZING aesthetic sensibilities. I love it. Your poster is unbelieveable.

Thank yas Timur!!

Good news vs bad news...

Good news is I had the chance to start filming with the actors for this film. I was
also able to use my 35 adapt in nothing but available light. Here are some grabs
from the short. I must be incredibly lucky stumbling upon two exceptional actors
in the DC/Balt area. I owe them more than kind words.

Bad news is I won't make the deadline but the good news is... I'm
finishing it next week just in time to join the viewings.

Bad news is I've not had more than 3-4hrs consecutive sleep in the last 3weeks.

Good news is now I can rest a bit before next week.

I think the best news is we'll get to see it next week. The logline is great, the poster is fantastic, andthe available light night shots are really pretty cool.

Working with a 35 adapt ain't easy. Despite a few bumps here and there
I think I sorta have the hang of it. Anyways, here's a small incomplete
sequence with bad takes and all. There's a good bit CC as well... it needs
it because of the available light in the bar. Either way it's showing some
promise.

Note: The music is my own and not Herman's. I hope he has time this
coming week to score the majority of the film. That guy is a machine!
