I Want To Thank Jarred

I just had one more experience of having another member sharing a tip with me. I read a thread where a person mentioned a light he had recently bought and I sent a PM to ask him if he would share his thoughts after having it a little longer.

Right away I get a reply with a tip about asking the manufacturer to put another part on it from one of their other lights and it will work better. Something I would never had thought of.

This is just one of thousands of example of people sharing their experiences on this site and helping a person that they don't know and in fact have never seen.

It happens every day here.

I have learned so much and seen so much friendliness that I just had to state to Jarred that I really, really appreciate this site and want him to know that this site is responsible for so many people being able to fulfill their vision in a way that would not be possible without it.

Thanks Jerrad for this incredible learning tool and for providing a breeding ground for creativity and friendship.

I'll drink to that. This is, without question, the most helpful site I've ever had the privilege to be a part of.

Without a doubt.
Truly a market place for the free exchange of knowledge and ideas.
Thank you Mr. Land

I want to chime in too!

This site has been a fantastic educational resource for me.

Thanks to Jarred and all members as well.

I have to add my props to Jarred and his team of Moderators. This meeting place is priceless, and sets the standard for online communities in honesty, respect, knowledge and generosity. Qualities like this reflect the leadership and management in any organization so in short, I would work for Jarred Land any day of the week!

I almost posted a thought that I'd be willing to pay to use this site.

I actually would be willing to pay some yearly fee but I didn't say it because so many people on this site know where I live.

As a new poster/long-time lurker, I too echo the sentiments put into words by everyone else here. With so many egos and flaming and the like on a lot of other online avenues, not to mention with Usenet becoming so cluttered, it's important to have an electronic venue such as this. I've learned a TON of stuff about the DVX and filmmaking in general and I've been doing this professionally for 7 years now. Film/video production is a continual learning process and DVXuser provides an awesome avenue for learning. This forum defines community.

Thank you.
