New York City DVXUSER Crew Presents: Katrina

OMFG. its 7:19 am. i just got home from day 1 of shoot.

You guys arent going to believe this when its done. MArk will post grabs.

It was a great first night of shooting. I'm going to collapse as soon as I take Aram to work, but it was worth it -- fine work, everyone!

I really cannot thank you guys enough for making this happen. it was a grueling night, and everyone really did their jobs well, despite me and MsMahattan yelling at them to hurry. Seriously, all of you, JimtheJib, MsManhattan, Aram - A TRUE LIGHTING GOD - Timur, Alex Depew, Steve, Jill - who am I forgetting - the actors, Godfrey, Lindsey and Brandon.

And it did indeed pay off. Behold the first grabs:

Yeah, all you mofos get to go to beddy bye while I have to sit here at work. My eyes burn, my ass burns, my feet burn... but it was worth it.
Thanks Mark! I can't wait for Sat. to do it all again.
I was running around so much yesterday I think I wore out a few years on my hips. They are grinding a little today. I burned my fingers a few times forgetting to put my gloves on too but its all "Gravy".
Sleep tight all snug in your bed
with visions of Katrina dancing in your heads.

PS. I have the BTS pics online. Just give the ok Mark and ill post a link.

Aram, your lighting is beautiful! Very nice.

I hope that you have some lighting set-up shots that you can share with us!

Wow fellas! Wonderful job on the BTS grabs. No pain. No Gain. I definitely agree with Ted.. Share the wealth with some lighting tips. :) It's all about the China Balls right?

I got some requests for lighting setups I did but there are no stills with them in it. I guess i can draw out where the lights went on a wide shot of Gravy.
